6. Hardness: At an ambient temperature of 70 degrees Fahrenheit, plus or minus 5 degrees, the ball's hardness should fall between 40 and 50 on the Durometer D scale.
7. Hole and Design: The ball should have a minimum of 26 and a maximum of 40 circular holes, with hole spacing and overall design conforming to flight characteristics. Additionally, the ball must bear the manufacturer's or supplier's name or logo, along with the "USA Pickleball Competition" seal or text treatment for competitive balls, or the "USA Pickleball Approved" seal for non-competition purposes.
